Trump’s team started the morning attempting to enter into evidence a dispute between Daniels and her ex-husband, Merchan denied it. Since then, defense attorney Susan Necheles has tried to start several lines of questioning related to past statements that Daniels made, only to have them shot down by objections.
Which seems very much like an attorney trying to get things heard by the jury even when she knows they’re not going to be allowed into official evidence.
